Executive & Leadership Coaching

Space to think clearly, decide with confidence, and stay yourself while you lead.

The higher you go, the fewer people you can think out loud with.

Senior leadership wants confidence. The organization wants decisiveness. Your team needs steadiness. Your peers are managing their own demands, and some of them look to you for steady partnership. And the sounding boards you used to lean on are now looking to you for steadiness, not uncertainty.

That's the part of professional growth no one warns you about. The decisions get heavier, the margin for error gets thinner, and the people who once gave you straightforward feedback start managing you instead — telling you what you want to hear, keeping things from you, carrying weight on your behalf that you never asked them to and can't even see.

And through all of it, you're expected to perform at a higher level than ever. You want to rise to it. You also want to still recognize yourself when you get home — to not lose the person underneath the role. You owe that to the people who matter to you, and you owe it to yourself.

Coaching is where that changes. It's a confidential, one-on-one partnership: a place to think out loud, pressure-test the decision you can't talk about anywhere else, and do the quieter work of staying connected to who you are while you become the leader you want to be.

How We Work Together

Coaching with me is built around where you actually are, not a fixed curriculum.

We begin with a free 30-minute discovery call to discuss your goals, my approach, and whether a coaching engagement is the next step for you.

Most engagements take one of a few shapes:

A Focused Start

For a specific challenge you want traction on committing to a longer arc.

A way to make focused progress and feel the work before you go deeper.

Duration: ~ 6 weeks

Sessions:

  • 3 × 60 minutes - biweekly

Some email support

Best For: A specific challenge you want traction on; feel the work before going deeper.

Targeted Coaching

For a leader ready to work a defined focus with a thinking partner in their corner.

Deep enough to shift something real, contained enough to see the end from the start.

Duration: ~ 3 months

Sessions:

  • 6 × 60minutes - biweekly

  • 1× 20 minute integration session

Email support, wrap-up + written summary

Best For: A leader ready to work a defined focus with a thinking partner in their corner.

Core Coaching

For a leader who wants the longer arc, where the deeper work lives. Six months gives you something shorter engagements can’t: space for the work to breathe and time to see real results.

And time to work on the whole of who you are, not just the leader at work — because how you lead doesn’t begin or end when you walk out the office door.

Duration: ~ 6 months

Sessions:

  • 12 × 60 minutes - biweekly

  • 20 minute check-in session

  • 1 × 20 minute integration session

Email support, mid-point calibration, wrap-up + written summary

Best For: The longer arc — space for the work to breathe, and time to work on the whole of who you are.

Strategy Consult

One 90-minute session when you have a specific decision to work through.

You’ll get a short worksheet to complete beforehand to focus our time, the session itself, and two 20-minute follow-ups in the months after.

Duration: ~ 3 months

Sessions:

  • 1 × 90 minutes

  • 2 × 20 minute follow-up sessions

Prep worksheet, two 20-min follow-ups

Special accelerated Founding Sessions - series of 4, 6, or 12 weekly sessions are available for a limited time.

Best For: One specific decision you need to work through, start to finish.

Why Rainey Strategic Advisors

I spent more than twenty-five years inside organizations, most of them at the executive table, so I'm not coaching from theory. I know what it's like to sit with a decision that affects thousands of people, to deliver news you wish you didn't have to, to hold steady when you're anything but. I've been the person everyone looks to for the answer. I also know what it's like to lose myself in the work, and the effort it took to find my way back.

And I've sat next to people I love in some of the hardest moments of their lives. I know what it means to be the steady one in the room, and what it costs. That's not separate from this work — it's the heart of it.

It's the foundation I coach from, and it's why, after the executive table, I became an executive coach.

Coaching, at its best, is connection to yourself at your core: not the role, not the title, but the person underneath who still has to show up, deliver results, and lead steadily and consistently, day after day.
